Jane (The Boss!)

I have been working with horses since the age of 16. I became a BHS Intermediate Instructor (both stable management and riding parts held) over 15 years ago. I have the BHS Stage 4 Coaching certificate. I also have a Diploma in teaching and lifelong learning. I have a wealth of knowledge from training point to point horses, working on dealing yards, producing showing horses to HOYS level. Currently training to Medium/Advanced Level Dressage on Sir Baltimore with Mette Assouline and Emile Faurie.

I love teaching and watching clients improve and achieve their own ambitions and dreams. Braeside started out as a small family business and has progressed into what it is today whilst retaining the same family friendly values.

Emily - Chief Instructor

I trained at Braeside for my Level 2 and 3 City and Guilds Work based Diploma. I recently passed my BHS Stage 3 with flying colours, shortly followed by my BHS AI qualification which qualifies me as a Stage 3 Coach. I am currently training for my BHS Stage 4. I thoroughly enjoy teaching students of all abilities and watching them progress and improve lesson by lesson. I also organise the Pony Club activities and camps. Riding is still a huge hobby of mine so even though I work with all these beautiful horses and ponies everyday; I try to ride in my spare time (if I have any!!) I also really enjoy running with my bouncy chocolate Labrador Milo; we plan to do a sponsored run one day! In the near future I would love to have a project horse of my own to get out and about and compete on.

Emily is very successful with her coaching methods showing lots of experience in all levels and disciplines  she is very popular with all Braesides Customers. Emily loves helping to with the schooling and backing of the many horses that we have coming through Braeside.  Emily is always willing to help no matter what the situation and is Jane's rock.
